Hypnotherapy for weight control is a method that some people didn’t even know was possible but it certainly is! Richard Hennessy is the principal hypnotherapist at the wellness centre and over 10 years he has helped many people to control their weight through hypnosis.
Your thoughts and feelings have a big impact on what you eat, when and why. Hypnotherapy is natural and can be a very effective method for bringing about change.

Weight management counselling
Counselling could help you to take control of your weight specifically and your health more generally. There could be a wide range of reasons as to why your physical health isn’t so good. A counsellor could help you explore some of those reasons and potentially help you uncover problems or difficulties that have been contributing to the problem.
With this information you could then find alternative ways forward so you can be heappier and healthier.
Exercise classes to lose weight
Some people don’t have a traumatic history that affects their weight. Some people do know what is healthy and what isn’t. If you know that you just aren’t active enough then we have people who can help with that also.
Throughout the week we have classes at the Sheffield Wellness Centre where you can be more active. These classes change week to week and month to month so it is important to check the up to date listings as to what classes are running.
Classes we often feature include yoga classes and circuit training.
