How I can help you

I began my professional journey by training to become a Nurse at Sheffield University, specialising in the area of Mental Health and working at The Northern General Hospital after graduating. Although I enjoyed my time working as a Nurse, I was uncomfortable with the lack of an individualised approach to patient care, believing that there must be a way to delve deeper into the root causes of health issues to offer more holistic and sustainable options, tailored uniquely to the individual.

I have always felt a strong connection to the plant-world and our natural environment so decided to embark upon a journey to find out how I could combine my passion for helping others with my love and respect for plants and nature. I spent some time living in New Zealand and it was here that I first discovered the incredible power of plant medicine and realised that there was such a thing as a career as a Herbalist!

I completed my training to become a Herbalist and Naturopath at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in Ireland where I achieved professional certification in each of these areas following 4 years of training. I am a member of two professional bodies, The Association of Master Herbalists and The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, both of which are committed to upholding high ethical and professional standards to provide the best possible quality of care to clients. I am dynamically engaged in attending CPD (Continuing Professional Development) seminars, lectures and workshops on a frequent basis to continuously update and inform my practice.

As a Herbalist and Naturopath, I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to ensure they receive the most appropriate, effective and relevant advice and treatment possible. Our work together begins with a thorough consultation where we discuss your health and lifestyle in detail, including your health history and goals for the future. From here, I then formulate uniquely tailored herbal medicine protocols and remedies, along with a personalised wellbeing plan which may include nutritional, lifestyle and supplementation advice, as appropriate for you. We continue our work together with follow up consultations where we undertake reviews of your health since beginning your herbal treatment, updating or altering your medicines and wellbeing plans as appropriate.

My practice embodies elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Iridology which all serve to gain deeper insight and consideration of constitutional elements and specific health patterns or vulnerabilities in the individual, allowing the most comprehensive assessment, advice and protocol to be offered. I also work with flower essences, which assist transformation and restoration on an emotional level. These may be added to herbal tinctures or made up separately for you. In addition, I am a qualified Reiki Therapist and offer separate Reiki sessions which are a wonderful way to relax and restore vitality on an energetic level.
