I have been working to help people change unwanted and destructive behaviour for over 20 years, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Person Centered Therapy.

More recently I trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Innervisions School of Clinical Hypnotherapy and went on to study Advanced Hypnotherapy with the Academy of Advanced Changework. This has enabled me to widen the range of therapies I use and combine the best of these therapies to offer a more tailored therapy approach.

Every individual will have a unique problem pattern and therefore a unique individual treatment plan is devised, to reflect the way the individual experiences the problematic behaviour – a way of dehypnotize the client out of their problematic state.

How I can help you

Cognitive hypnotherapy combines techniques from a variety of therapies. It is a modern approach based on recent discoveries from neuroscience and draws on a range of therapeutic influences, including the most effective elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Gestalt, Traditional Hypnotherapy and Neuro- linguistic Programming (NLP).

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture which has been used to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years. EFT works by tapping on the specific meridians on the face and body where to input kinetic energy, using the fingertips, whilst thinking about specific physical or emotional issues, and voicing positive affirmations.

The combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmations work to clear the ’ the emotional block from the body’s bioenergy system and resorting the mind and body balance, essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease. EFT can also be a useful tool in weight control, by helping the individual to curb cravings.
