Fouzia Ali

Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Nutrition Consultant

I have been drawn to natural medicine all my life. The catalyst that finally made me train in Ayurvedic medicine was succumbing to chronic fatigue in 2015. After a tummy bug in May 2015 I found that my energy levels had plummeted and I never really recovered my full strength.

Over the following 3 years I visited my GP on several occasions; each time my bloods were checked and nothing wrong was found. However, I clearly could feel something wrong as I was constantly tired, finding it an extreme effort to even go up and down the stairs.

My training as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Nutrition Consultant over 2018 and 2019 has enabled me to find my own recovery. I am taking my own knowledge of Ayurveda to a deeper level by continuing my studies in Ayurvedic Practitioner’s Course. I am excited to share my learning with you to support you on your personal healing.

I am a member of the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals UK (AAPUK).

Which disorders can I help with:

Here is a list of some of the things diet and lifestyle advice could help you with: Skin disorders like eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, digestive issues such as gastritis, acid reflux, hernia, peptic ulcers, duodenal ulcers, colitis, IBS, Coeliac disease, Crohn’s disease, chronic cough, asthma, arthritis, gout, autoimmune disorders, falling hair, PMT, migraines, allergies, recurrent infections, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and so on.

This list is not exhaustive.

What will happen at the consultation?

I offer an hour-long initial consultation and I recommend at least two follow up with three-week duration in between. In the consultation, I would find out about the presenting complaint, associated signs and symptoms and learn about aspects of your current diet and lifestyle factors. I would then give you advice about dietary and lifestyle changes, as well as remedies.

All herbal medicines come from my trainers, The Ayurvedic Clinic in South Croydon, where they have been used as a safe and effective natural medicine for over 25 years. The Ayurvedic clinic procures its medicines from trusted sources in Sri Lanka, through wildcrafting and fair trading. This does mean that the medicines are sometimes more expensive than some internet sources. However, you can be assured of the quality and integrity of the medicine.
