Hello, my name is Katie and I run regular, weekly Yoga classes at the Sheffield Wellness Centre, as well as retreat days throughout the year. I am a Yoga Teacher (Alliance trained) as well as a mental health nurse by profession. I have also studied to post graduate level in Recovery in Mental Health and I have a keen interest in supporting others on their yoga journey. Yoga is my passion and continues to be a useful tool to manage my own mental health and wellbeing on a daily basis, it is my hope that it can do the same for you.
How I can help you
My classes aim to provide a safe space for you to draw on your own inner strength and wisdom, with the use of breath and movement. Together in the classes, we will use a mixture of breathwork, meditation, movement and relaxation with a restorative and nurturing vibe. All levels are welcome and I especially welcome beginners.
One to one Mental Health Recovery yoga is also available by appointment and prices vary depending on your needs. Please feel welcome to contact me privately for a free consultation regarding this. We will work together to establish your needs and create a bespoke yoga class for you to use as part of managing your mental health and wellbeing.
