Wednesday Evening Yoga Class

Feel Good Friday Yoga is a 75-minute hatha flow-based yoga class suitable for everyone no matter what age or fitness level. Each class has a different focus e.g. a part of the body or theme so you can drop in when it suits you.
Classes include a mixture of sun salutations, asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation to help balance the mind and body.
The way you move in and out of the different postures will vary according to you, your body and how you’re feeling on the day. I will encourage you to observe how your body reacts to each posture and work within your own ability.
Yoga has taught me many things over the years. When we learn to stay present on the mat, we learn to stay present in our day to day lives. When we choose to open our hearts in an asana e.g. camel pose, we begin to show more love and kindness to those in need. When we sit with our discomfort on the mat, slowly we begin to sit with our discomfort in our lives – we start to understand why it’s there in the first place.
