Write For Us
At the Sheffield Wellness Centre, we’re always looking to share thoughtful, grounded content that supports our community’s wellbeing, mentally, physically and emotionally.
If you’re a therapist, health professional, wellbeing writer, or you run a related service and have something genuinely useful to share, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether it’s about managing anxiety, making sense of the postnatal experience, the role of nutrition in mental health, or tips for small but meaningful lifestyle changes – if it aligns with what we do, we’re open.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome original articles that are:
- Directly relevant to our services or audience (see our list of therapies for a feel of what fits)
- Written clearly and accessibly (secondary school reading level - helpful, not heavy)
- 700 to 1200 words
- Not published anywhere else, and definitely not AI-written (we do check)
- Genuinely interesting or practically useful. Tthink “reader-first”, not keyword-stuffed
- We’re especially keen to hear from contributors in Sheffield or nearby, and from voices we might not usually get to feature.
What You Get in Return
If we publish your article:
- We’ll include a dofollow link to your website or chosen page (within reason)
- In return, we ask that you add a link to Sheffield Wellness Centre from an existing, relevant article on your site. This helps keep the collaboration mutually beneficial and SEO-friendly.
Not For Us
We won’t accept:
- Anything unrelated to mental or physical health (finance, crypto, gambling etc.)
- Generic SEO link-building content
- AI-generated posts (we run checks)
- If it doesn’t serve our audience, we won’t publish it.
Submit Your Article
- Your full name as you would like it to appear on your article
- A brief intro about you or your business, we'll use this on your Author Bio
- The URL of the existing article on your site where you'll include a backlink to us
We usually reply within a week. If it’s a good fit, we’ll let you know the next steps. If not, we’ll explain why it isn’t suitable or offer suggestions on we can make it work.
