Erzsebet Rennie

Massage therapist

I am a Swedish style deep tissue massage therapist, with a wide knowledge of other techniques. I can help with back pain, muscle pain, general well-being, stress release.

I am focused on the need of my client. I adjust every massage to their needs on the day. I have a good hand to find problematic areas and add extra attention to them. I work with client feedback and adjust according to them.

My approach is holistic to every client, if they share information about their well-being or physical health, I will be able to work more specifically. To give you a little more information about me,  I am 39 years old. I was born and raised in Hungary. I moved into Sheffield in 2010. I have two young daughters. I am volunteering as a doula, looking after vulnerable mothers around the time of their baby’s arrival.

Specialises in:
Can help you with: , hot-stone massage, , Relaxation
I am interested in further training in massage and alternative therapies in the near future. I have qualified in pregnancy massage and now offer this as one of my treatments.

I have studied massage therapy for most of my adult life. I have also extensively studied holistic medicine and completed a three-year university-style course which looked at, among other things,  Ancient Hungarian, Chinese & Indian medicine, Thai massage, moxa, hot cup, acupressure and reflexology in theory and practice.

A few years later I trained and gained my qualifications in Hungary in Swedish style, deep tissue therapeutic massage. I have used all of this knowledge to develop my massage style.

In addition to massage therapy, I am a reiki and angel therapy healer. As part of my I continuing professional development here in Sheffield, I have recently qualified in hot-stone massage. I find the technic amazing and would like to offer it in the near future.

One of the questions I am most commonly asked is…
“Can massage help ease aches and pains?”
Answer: Yes massage can help Sheffield aches and pains sufferers. You might feel a bit sore for the day or two after the massage, but the long term benefits will show, and you will be moving with ease. Your muscles will have deep work done, all knots untangled. Your all-around well-being will better.
